Topic Description:
This three-week experiential course in southern France examines how language, place, and tradition shape cultural identity. Students will engage in daily language instruction while also exploring the region’s rich cultural heritage through guided tours of UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Roman aqueducts and ancient amphitheaters. Activities such as culinary tastings and museum visits will offer immersive opportunities to observe how history and tradition continue to shape contemporary life. Through reflective writing and group discussion, students will connect their experiences to broader questions of cultural preservation and global citizenship.
