Full Title: Winning, Money, and the NCAA

Topic Description:

Ethics in Sport, do they exist? Is there a win-at-all-costs mentality in college sports? This course will analyze these questions through a review of major NCAA violations and current ethical issues in sport. Students will evaluate literature regarding ethics in sports and interpret current NCAA compliance standards. Students will also be required to formulate solutions to the most prominent issues through group based research and a final project. The final project will consist of several parts, including a proposal, progress report, final paper and final presentation.
