This is a travel course consisting of two weeks spent in Italy, primarily in Rome, Florence, and Venice. The goal is to study how Italian artists have visualized their world and how we, as travelers to Italy, visualize that world in our turn. (ARTH 146 or 156 recommended but not required.)
