INQ-277 | Nonverbal Behavior

Topic Description:

An examination of the research, theory, and methods of the psychological study of nonverbal behavior. Topics include types of nonverbal behavior, uses and purposes of nonverbal behavior, and problems connected to the misinterpretation of nonverbal behavior. Student participation in research projects is required. Prerequisites: PSYC 101, PSYC 200 or equivalent (PSYC 325 recommended). Students should have some familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Minitab or SPSS for Windows.
