Topic Description:

In today’s schools, there is a heavy emphasis on content and preparation for high stakes testing. As a result, the integration of art, music, movement, and experiential learning opportunities into classrooms is often neglected or omitted. The focus of this course is to explore ways that art, music, movement, and experiential learning can be integrated into classrooms while also covering state required content. In this course, students will learn to incorporate these elements into their curricular plans.
