Do you wish you were better at listening, observing, and making sense of what people around you are doing and saying? The goal of this course is to help you improve your qualitative research skill set by conducting your own exploratory research project on a communication studies topic. By the end of the semester you will have experienced interviewing as a method of data collection and analysis of qualitative data in order to further illuminate the selected communication topic. You will be given a chance to really listen, deeply think about your participant responses, and come to conclusions about what it all means.
