What makes a game fun? Can you design and create a game that makes a difficult task fun? Serious games exploit our innate desire to play to accomplish something more than entertainment. They are used to teach children mathematics, to help security analysts practice intrusion techniques, and to disperse information for public health campaigns. In this class, you will learn what makes a game fun so that you can design, create, and test a serious game.
