INQ-177 | Puzzling through Games with Logic

Topic Description:

Logic forms the basis of many popular games, such as Chess, Sudoku, Ticket to Ride, and the all-powerful Rubik’s Cube. In this class, we explore several areas of mathematics that are used in the construction and playing of these types of games. We will cover fundamentals of game theory, probability, logic, graph theory, and combinatorics – all through hands-on activities (yes, playing these types of games!) and computational analysis.
