Full Title: Self and Society: Implications for Community Health and Well-Being

Topic Description:

This semester we will think about the role we, as individuals, play in community health and well-being. Over the course of the semester I want you to continually ask yourself what role you can and should play in building a thriving community where health and well-being are core values. I want you to wonder who else should play a role? We will dive into questions about the relationship between self and society on the one hand, and community health and well-being on the other. Is it our responsibility as community members to engage in work that will improve community health and well-being? Is our responsibility to focus on ourselves and others to do the same?
