Topic Description:

What does it mean to set things right? Who participates in justice—and who is excluded? This Inside-Out seminar brings together students from a higher education setting and incarcerated students to explore how religious traditions shape ideas of justice, accountability, and healing. We will examine sacred texts, philosophical reflections, and personal narratives to consider how ritual, redemption, and restorative justice provide meaningful alternatives to systems of punishment.
